snow angels
stars shine out brightly
twinkle on soft snow and me
smiling snow angels

MA EARTH LISTENING TO JAZZ IN THE WINTER NIGHT
Ma Earth listening to jazz in the winter night
heaving and sighing, listening to jazz
tinny musings of muted trumpet like
little winds tickling the nooks
in Antarctic mountains
tuning twigs
in deciduous forests
Radio of the humans permeating
and being permeated–reflecting
some radio
of Ma Earth, God,
this living Universe, and
Ma Earth so complicated,
a beautiful being
with simultaneous scenes–
is there one big world mood?
She’s listening to jazz
and blooming auroras, sighing again
and blooming auroras
floras like Dizzie Gillespie fireworks
and the mutterings
of Mingus
Ma Earth at night wondering what
her birds dream
as snow streams
gentle but relentless
Maybe birds dream filigrees, buds and
branches, fluffing themselves up
for warmth, seeds and berries digesting
in their nighttime
stomachs
~ Lady
