\nheavy squash lush with gilded seed, smiling corn
\nand teeth of beans, three sisters buttressing
\nhome grown Abenaki heritage garden
\nwith its lexicon of ancient new world
\nsymbols enduring in green heaven
\non earth teeming with gods
\nof turtles, moonlit loons,
\nand liquid mink<\/p>\n
