Cleveland born<\/strong><\/p>\n

His first breath was filled
\nwith the dust
\nfrom chipped concrete,<\/p>\n

he romped on catholic avenue
\nwhere four was a few
\nwhere English sweated in school.<\/p>\n

and tool belts were slung
\non back door hooks with sauerkraut
\nflavored kitchen tables painted
\nin European colors,<\/p>\n

and glass grown tomatoes reflected
\nmelted steels two story molten fires,<\/p>\n

on the other side of blue smoke and flame
\npoured houses poured children<\/p>\n

and out of the valley came
\nhunched men dragging empty lunch pails
\nup the hills into Tremont,<\/p>\n

throughout the valley whistles blew
\ninto the air they breathed.<\/p>\n
