\nlips and hair beautiful
\nstone ice and stars beautiful
\nstreams and meadows beautiful
\nsun space and earth beautiful
\ngreen eyes and kisses beautiful
\nwaterfalls birds beautiful
\nclouds and moonlight beautiful
\nsilence and firelight beautiful
\nroses nightingales beautiful
\nstone and gardens beautiful
\ncastles and wind beautiful
\nrocks and Earth beautiful
\nBeethoven and his spheres<\/p>\n

The Waterthrush<\/strong><\/p>\n
Grey rainfall on the waterthrush stream,
\nI waded the limestone glade of coneflowers
\nin their purple summer burning.
\nCalm as moss white sycamores offered
\na lunar course to follow the hidden sun
\nwhose children hanged from bags of deerskin
\nwith mother\u2019s marrow on their tongues
\nawaiting the hunt.
\nTwo crossed sticks lid the natural well pool
\ninside the rocks hiding the frogs
\nfrom the quiet night heron staring downward
\nas a vapor bathed
\nmemories of the irretrievably lost.
\nI sat with a match to recreate the swans
\ndrowned in my palms
\nas rain and flame fed from the lower sky.<\/p>\n
